Car-journalist Jeremy Clarkson doesn't like the sport-version of the XC 90: "I don’t know what I was thinking of really because I know the Volvo is not sporty in any way. The diesel engine, though better than it was in the early days, is still desperately agricultural. The handling is straight from the playpen and the speed is woeful. Sticking four exhausts on a car like this is a bit like sticking four exhausts on Eamonn Holmes and attempting to sell the end result as a sport model."

According to my dealer a lot of XC90's have tv-screens in the back of the car. More than other types of Volvo's. Is it a thing that clings to this type of car? I know I didn't have any doubt when I bought my car: I just had to have screens. Not only for my three kids, who had pleasant trips to Rome, Barcelona and London thanks to this system, but also for myself. Nothing relaxes better to watch Sponge Bob while your wife is driving!

In Belgium the firebrigade has bought a 2006 XC90 for the officers as a command-car. They don't just click the key and drive. A holy father came to bless the car for it's work.

You have to look close to see the difference with the original Volvo XC90. The byline of the picture speaks about the V8 R-design. It's beautiful red en has more fluent lines.

I know a guy who dears to do anything with his Volvo XC90. He does the kind of things I only dream of. When I see him doing these things, I can only think about my insurance. When you wrack your car in this way, you won't get payed I dime.

But am I a coward? Sure, these pictures proove you only have to take a hose and clean the car afterwards. It's great fun doing this with a XC90, that's true!
